I wanted the ogres to be a relatively simple paint job (in between a seemingly endless stream of Empire troopers) so I set about using the basic scheme set by GW. The skin is a mix of Rotting Flesh/Fortress Grey and there are a lot of different metalics in use. The finished job is gently highlighted between thinned washes of Black Ink/Brown Ink mix to create a dark, brooding feel. The finished result took less then 2 weeks.
Highlight: The Bull's Standard, complete with crow's nest.
Lowlight: Assembling Ogre battle slippers!
